We require a lead time of a week in advance. This allows us to ensure that we have the freshest products available for you.

We offer three (3) shipments per week. Each shipment can hold 190 cases -14 Ibs in each case. A total of 8,000 Ibs a week currently. 

A case is 8" x10" x 41" and it contains 14 Ibs of basil. Each pound is packed individually.  

We import all of our basil via air freight which is the quickest and most effective way to preserve its freshness. 

Basil should be kept refrigerated at all times between 50F and 53F. The cold chain should never be interrupted during the transportation process. 

Basil is freshest during the first 14 days and the right temperature will ensure its optimal condition. Life can be extended another week or so depending on handling.

Yes, we offer basil all year around. Due to the farmland’s soil, rich in nutrients and extremely high-water holding capacities it withstands the heavy rainy season months allowing us to offer ongoing basil all year around.
